I have never been to Brazil before and I wasn't sure what to expect. When I travel to some countries they can be quite a cultural shock sometimes. All I knew about Brazil was that it was a huge country and it included the Amazon River, the largest rain forest and the most diverse plant and animal populations anywhere on earth.
When I woke up on March 4th upon arrival to Porto Belo, Brazil and looked out from the balcony of our cabin, I seriously thought I was in paradise. It was so beautiful! Lush green mountains with beautiful beaches. I immediately sent out a text to John, Danielle and Rob and said "Brazil is beautiful", at that moment I was so excited to see what the rest of Brazil would look like.
